Giannis Varsamoudis is an artist who lives and works in Alexandroupolis, Greece.

He paints and draws portraits, figures and landscapes. The materials he uses are Soft pastel, Charcoal, Graphite and watercolor.

He has participated in painting competitions in which he won places.

Third place in the category "portrait of a non-famous person".

Panhellenic "phoenix" award in 2019.

Fourth place tie in the category "pastels/chalk/coloured pencil - human figure" in the 2020

American Art Awards:

 Sixth place tie in the category "charcoal/ink/pencil - human figure" for the 2020 American Art Awards.

Sixth place tie in the category "pastels/colored pencil - human figure" in the 2021 American Art Awards.
